For over 20 years, we have looked at about 25 psychological variables to see how they correlate with a high-performing brain. A variable is simply an area of psychology that is well-defined and measurable. We approached this process like strokes gained, where smaller measurable areas (i.e., approach) contribute to the more comprehensive total score. We were looking for the smaller, measurable, psychological variables that make up the mind of a champion. Fourteen variables separated themselves in the data. Seven variables you probably have heard of in the past, and seven are new to the NOYN™. They are grouped into three categories. Those categories are performance, you with others, and you with you.
